Father's Day

We went to the farm for Father's Day and had fun running around in the heat!

Three of us rode in the 3-seater pick up with Pepper, the 60-lb farm dog, on our laps to go feed the little calves. They were terrified of my camera. Haha.

Played in the fields...

Did some target practice...

Self portrait! James looks like a creeper leaning into the picture, so I made him do a second take. He still liked the first one better. :)

Sunset over the old farmhouse.

The Farm

We haven't been to the farm in a long time, so I've been looking at pictures from there and wishing it were warm outside again so we could go play in the fields. It's a working beef farm, so there's tons of cows mooing around to take pictures of.

Babies everywhere!
Cows are very curious about what you're doing at all times and, most importantly, if you have grain for them.

This is Pepper, the farm dog. She's crazy... that's all I have to say about her.

This is the ol' farm house. It's currently unoccupied because James's parents built a new house with heat and air and all those lovely amenities. Maybe we can fix it up some day and live there.

If you've been to our house, you'll recognize this as the inspiration for a 6 foot painting James did in oil painting class.
