What's your style of photography?
I photograph weddings in a journalistic
manner that is unobtrusive to you and your guests.
I really strive to find moments of tenderness, joy, and
excitement to photograph in a candid manner.
Because finding a quiet moment during a wedding
can be challenging, I aim to spend at least 30-45
minutes alone with the bride and groom at
some point during the day.
Do you do posed family portraits?
Of course! Family portraits are very important, and I
always dedicate time to them immediately after the
ceremony.
Can we provide a shot list?
Other than important family groupings, I generally
work journalistically for the majority of the day.
I am happy to discuss ahead of time what pictures
you are most interested in.
Style
Where do you live? Do you travel? Are there fees?
I live in Knoxville, TN in the foothills of the
Smoky Mountains. I primarily cover the
Knoxville area but will also cover the Gatlinburg/
Sevierville area. Travel over 100 miles roundtrip will incur a
small travel fee.
How long does it take to get our images and albums?
Your proofs should be available 2-3 weeks after your
wedding. Albums are hand designed and take 6-8
weeks to create and arrive.
Do you edit files? How does proofing work?
Your photos will be uploaded to an online gallery after
quick lighting and color correction has been done.
You can then choose your favorites, and I'll get to work
retouching them more thoroughly before having them printed
at a local professional photography lab.
What if I'm not local? Will you ship my prints?
Yes, your final prints can be shipped to you at no additional
charge.
Do you offer a DVD of all the wedding photos?
Yes. DVDs are included in the premium packages, or you can
purchase a DVD of all of your wedding photos using credits
found in the standard wedding packages.
